Together with the team, you are jointly responsible for collecting data, prepare and process customs declarations and checking the related processes based on the applicable customs legislation. You identify any deviations and discuss them with the people involved in order to continuously meet current customs legislation. Additional you will support physical checks and audits. As a (Junior) Customs Declarant you will work in a team that knows when to work hard and when there is time for a laugh. You will be part of a team with approximately 21 employees. Customs is an interesting broad domain therefore you will have contact with external parties (carriers, customers, customs authorities) and internal parties (colleagues from all levels). This is the perfect opportunity for you to expand your knowledge and experience within Customs. A (Junior) Customs Declarant at Arvato has various challenging tasks and responsibilities. You will be responsible for managing and checking the processes and documentation related to the import, export and transit of various goods under customs supervision. You will also be involved in managing the international goods traffic.

Functie eisen
Qualifications you bring with you as a Customs Declarant • You have completed a middle or higher education level; • A recognized customs training course is an advantage; • Any work experience in customs is an advantage; • Knowledge of MS Office; • Available for at least 32 hours a week; • Affinition with logistics processes and administrative tasks; • Either proficiency of the English language or the Dutch language is essential.
